The vibrant colors of the art gallery seemed muted to Alex. His shoulders slumped, and he felt a bone-deep exhaustion. He'd been pushing himself beyond his limits, trying to meet the demands of work and life. He’d ignored his body’s warnings for too long.

The receptionist had called, a polite but insistent tone in her voice, and ushered him into a small office. The doctor looked at him with a look of concern. “Alex, we’ve discovered an error in your file.” Now, he stared at the document, a stranger's story staring back. He felt his face heat, but felt cold inside.

He felt adrift in a sea of uncertainty. His mind was struggling to process the information. He rubbed his temples, trying to ward off a headache that was rapidly intensifying.
